Privacy Policy

What I save

I host this website myself, on my own server, and store the logs that my reverse proxy (nginx) gathers.

That includes:

• Time and Date of the Visit
• The Pages that have been Visited
• The IP-Address of the User
• The user agent used (like what Browser you opened this page on)

This data is stored for 4 weeks before being automatically deleted.

In this timeframe I might analyze the data to gather insights into how to improve the site and store the results permenently. Those will not include any personalized information but only general information over the dataset like:

• Total number of page views
• Number of page views split up by user agent

This aggregated data like total page views might be shared to third parties

I reserve the right to update this policy at any time, in which case this page will be updated accordingly.

What others save

Because this website is hosted from a Vodafone network, Vodafone also has access to some of the data, like who connected to the server and at what time. They too log some of this data for legal and compliance reasons.
